Game 1 DC Defenders @ Orlando Storm:

Picks: Orlando ML (-185), Under 47.5 (PK)

This will be the third week in a row the Orlando Storm and the DC Defenders will play each other. (Wild right?) With the Storm winning the first matchup 27-19 and the second matchup 29-23. And they always say "it's hard to beat a team twice." So, presumably it's even harder to beat a team 3 times. But I'm not convinced; the DC Defenders are missing their starting QB Jordan Ta'amu and they have not been able to figure out how to win a game since he went down. And altogether the team has lost their last 4 games and limping into the playoffs with a 5-5 record. Losing 4 straight and playing a team for the third straight week after they beat you back to back? Yeah idk about that one. The Storm have been rock solid all year, Anthony Becht at the helm is rock solid as always and Jack Plummer might be the MVP leading the league in passing yards with 2,188 and throwing 17 TD to just 1 INT. And the Storm's Defense giving up just 18 ppg. That is a recipe for success. And while it looks like the dynamic midseason acquisition for the Defenders Jason Bean will get the start. I just don't think former number 1 overall UFL draft pick will have enough to get the job done. With Ta'amu it would be a different story.

The under should hit in this as well. The Defenders defense will surely come in fired up ready to back their backup QB and keep this a game. And I do think it will be competitive. But expect a lower scoring game where the Storm look to play their brand of ball and come away with the W. I'm saying 23-17 Storm. But with these funky UFL rules it might be even closer.

Game 2 Louisville Kings @ St. Louis Battlehawks:

Picks: STL ML (-148)

The Kings have gotten their shit together since trading away Jason Bean. Winning their last 4 games and looking good while doing so. Simply put, they're on fire. But Kaw is the Law and Luis Perez, the Spring King, is the fire extinguisher. Perez came to STL in a midseason trade and this is echoing his 2023 XFL run where the same thing happened and he led the 4-6 Renegades to the championship under Bob Stoops. He's a proven spring football winner and with a ROWDY St. Louis crowd that could reach close to 40,000 people look for the Battlehawks to win a close one. Ricky Proehl is gonna be dialed in. And I don't know if it will be a rock right or a shootout but I think it will come down to expereince and Perez and Butler have it. I think they will do just enough to come out with the W. If the Kings only score 10, the Battlehawks will score 13. If the Kings score 30, the Battlehawks will score 33. It's gonna be a close one.

You're a degenerate a want to parlay all 3 picks? That would come out to +393.
